He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicholas Mandonas, Christopher Mandonas, George Gatzunis, Elizabeth Gatzunis, Michael Gatzunis, Alex Santangelo, Rachel Gatzunis, Olivia Cicalis, Matthew Gatzunis, Ilianna Santangelo, Cassandra Cicalis, and Thomas Gatzunis, Jr; and by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was the brother of the late Sophie Bennos and Catherine Houhoulis.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at St. Demetrios Church, 57 Brown St., Weston. Interment, Mount Auburn Cemetery.
