He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie S. (Scott).
He was also predeceased by his brother, Frank D.
Born in Kansas, Mr. Hursh was the son of the late Walter C. and Grace (Durant).
He grew up in Medford. Mr. Hursh worked for the US Army Research Labs in Watertown, the Natick Labs and became a licensed electrician for Local 103. He was a Past Master of PequossetteLodge AF & AM, Watertown.
As a Navy Veteran in World War II, he was presented with the Purple Heart in the battle of Pearl Harbor.
A visitation was held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown on Thursday, April 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Masonic Service by PequossetteLodge AF & AM. Interment private.
