UPDATED: Post Holiday Paper Shredding & Styrofoam Recycling Event

The Watertown Public Works Department in conjunction with the Watertown Recycling Advisory Board will be hosting their Post Holiday Paper Shredding and Syrofoam Recycling Event on Jan. 7 at the Watertown Public Works facility, 124 Orchard St.

Do you have sensitivepersonal documents that you would like recycle to but you are worried about identity fraud? Bring them and watch them be shredded before your eyes!

Do you feel overwhelmed by holiday styrofoam packaging materials? Watertown Public Works and the Watertown Recycling Advisory Board would like to help you!

Bring your packaging peanuts, clamshell to-go containers, deli trays and cups. Just make sure it's marked No. 6, and is clean and dry.

Please remember that wrapping paper and cardboard is are also recyclable and can be placed in your bin.

Styrofoam Collection 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Paper Shredding 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
