Five Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 2

Senior Center Holiday Party, donations for the troops needed and music for kids at the library

 

The Senior Center hosts the annual Holiday Party today at 11:30 a.m. Come enjoy dancing, prizes, food, and fun with friends. Tickets are $14.

Operation American Soldier seeks donations to ship to servicemen and women overseas. Holidays and winter months are most difficult for our troops. See a list of the items needed, and how to donate here.

New Repertory Theatre presents "Three Viewings" tonight at 8 p.m. In the play written by Jeffrey Hatcher, the award-winning playwrite weaves together three poignant tales that explore love, money, and loss.

Parents who want to get some exercise with their children in a cool and quiet spot can take a stroll through the Watertown Mall. The walk opens at 9:30 a.m. and the group meets near Carter's. Strollers are welcome.

James Lepler will bring his music to the Watertown Free Public Library today so children ages 5 can move and shake to his tunes. The event begins at 11 a.m.
