Five Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 23

Talk on organic gardening, learn about buying a home and "Growth Busters" show at the library.

 

 

  1. Join Paul Kwiatkowski for an in-depth look at how our sustainable organic stewardship is shaping how the Mount Auburn Cemetery considers and completes projects at its greenhouse. The lunchtime talk begins at noon.
  2. The Talk restaurant hosts an educational evening on the process of purchasing home. Hear from a panel of experts in the industry beginning at 6:30 p.m.
  3. The film "Growth Busters, Hooked on Growth” will be shown at the Watertown Free Public Library at 6:45 tonight. The showing is sponsored by Watertown Citizens for Environmental Safety and Sustainable Watertown.
  4. Seniors are welcome to come to the Senior Center for blood pressure readings by a nurse from CareGroup Home Care beginning at 9:30 a.m. this morning.
  5. The Watertown Free Public Library hosts a Lego Club for children in grades K-3 at 2 p.m. today.
