Let it Snow! Overnight Storm Drops Blanket of Snow on Watertown

How are conditions in your neighborhood? Was your commute delayed?

Predicted to be a wintery mix, the storm that hit the Boston area morning left a coat of snow on the streets and homes of Watertown, Wednesday morning.

Streets have been plowed, but some slippery areas remain as of 8:30 a.m. An accident occured on School Street between Mt. Auburn and Belmont streets during the commute time.

The Watertown Public Schools remain open.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for 3 to 5 inches of snow in the area, with snow tapering off in the early afternoon.

Looks like it's over and slushing away in the Mt. Auburn/Common Street area.
