MBTA Hosts Meeting on Future of 73 Bus, Belmont Street/Trapelo Road Reconstruction

The MBTA will hold a meeting in Belmont about proposed changes to the 73 bus route and reconstruction of Belmont Street and Trapelo Road.

 

On June 7, the MBTA present the Key Bus Route Improvement Program to gather information on how to improve the 73 bus route in Watertown and Belmont.

The meeting will he held at 7 p.m. at the Beech Street Center, 266 Beech St. in Belmont. The Belmont Street/Trapelo Road Reconstruction Project will also be discussed at the meeting.

Bus stops may be relocated and/or eliminated, and the MBTA wants the public's feedback on the proposed improvements. 

MBTA officiials will present recommendations for stop consolidation and additional amenities for riders that have been developed from both projects.
