Perkins School Hosts Singers from Blind Schools Across the East

The Watertown-based school will host Music is Our Vision Festival on April 28.

Perkins School for the Blind invites the public to the Music is Our Vision Festival, an extraordinary concert featuring more than 130 talented student singers and musicians from six East Coast schools for the blind.

Perkins hosts the festival on Saturday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m., this year as the campus celebrates its 100th anniversary in Watertown. Admission is free and the concert will be held in Dwight Hall.

Student bands, choruses, and handbell ensembles will perform an array of uplifting folk songs, Broadway show tunes, and music from around the world, including a captivating Peruvian melody. Participating schools include:
