Watertown High School jumped out to an early lead against Randolph and won the first home football game of the year 42-16 on Friday night.

Senior running back Logan Riley's 55-yard run on the first offensive play of the game set the tone for Watertown. The Raiders improved their record to 3-0 with the non-league win.

Senior quarterback Joey Farrar three three touchdown passes before halftime, two to junior Matt Donnell and one to junior T.J. Hairston, to give the Raiders a 27-8 lead. 

The defense also got in on the scoring when sophomore Jared Grillo returned a fumble for a touchdown, according to the report from the Boston Globe.

Next week, the Raiders host Archbishop Williams on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Victory Field.
