State Sen. Brownsberger Seeking Summer Interns
College and high school student can apply for the unpaid interships working in Brownsberger's State House office.
State Sen. Will Brownsberger's office sent out the following information:
Senator Will Brownsberger announces that up to four part-time unpaid internships in his State House office will be available for the summer of 2012. Internships are open to college students and to high school students who will have completed their sophomore year. Each internship will require a commitment of 10-12 hours a week.
Applications are due by March 20, 2011. A cover letter and resume should be sent to email@example.com or mailed to Senator William Brownsberger, Room 213A, State House, Boston, MA 02133. Interviews will be arranged in March or early April and applicants will be notified of their status by April 30.
Legislative internships offer students a wide variety of experiences including issue research, constituent service, legislative work and budget tracking. Daily seminars on different aspects of state government are scheduled by the Senate.
College graduates may be able to arrange additional non-office internships based on policy development. The application process is the same as above.
