The Voters Have Spoken, and the Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day is ....

Miller's Ale House has developed fans in its short time in Watertown, who voted it the place to be on St. Paddy's Day.

The poll for the Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Watertown turned into a three horse race and the winner – by a nose – is Miller's Ale House.

The restaurant and bar on Arsenal Street has developed quite a following since it opened in December and it garnered 106 votes – 33 percent of the tally.

Orchard Park Grill and Donohue's Bar & Grill also grabbed a big share of the vote for the best place to toast to St. Patrick.

This was the third Best of Patch Readers' Choice contest. In the first contest Maximo's Takeout won Best Sandwich, and last week Watertown Co-operative Nursery School was voted best preschool/day care.

We will present Miller's Ale House with a certificate for their "Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day" status in the near future.

Next week, Watertown Patch is looking for the restaurant with the best family friendly restaurant. Voting begins Monday at 5 a.m.

Bravo Mr. Breitrose, an honest count. Hope your credentials are current. The License Lady is one vindictive sister.
