Which Holiday lighting is it? Where's the Nativity or Jewish Candleabra? All white lights? Phooey. No imagination or creativity there. Give me the old fashioned red, blue, green lights with a star at top. Primary colors make the prettiest trees.

It's called a Christmas Tree Charlie. It's really OK to say it. The Sensitivity Stasi need to take a chill pill. I have no objections to Hanukkah Menorah being displayed.
Do we call Halloween displays Holiday Displays? Do we call our Memorial Day parade a Holiday Parade?
Christmas is a Federal Holiday.
The preamble to our Commonwealth's Constitution reads:

"We, therefore, the people of Massachusetts, acknowledging, with grateful hearts, the goodness of the great Legislator of the universe, in affording us, in the course of His providence, an opportunity, deliberately and peaceably, without fraud, violence or surprise, of entering into an original, explicit, and solemn compact with each other; and of forming a new constitution of civil government, for ourselves and posterity; and devoutly imploring His direction in so interesting a design, do agree upon, ordain and establish the following Declaration of Rights, and Frame of Government, as the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."

Therefore Charlie, the Freedom OF Religion, based on the 1st Amendment of the Constitution (including the "establishment clause) does not call for a public square naked of Religious Reference. The words "Separation of Church and State" exist no where in our founding documents.
