A man got aggressive with Watertown Police officers when he would not leave Old Country Buffet on Oct. 28 at 1:20 p.m.

The 27-year-old man from Allston, came in to the restaurant in the Watertown Mall and refused to leave, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

“He sat at a table for three hours without ordering food,” Lawn said. “The restaurant was busying and people were waiting for a table. The manager asked him to leave and he refused.”

The manager threatened to call police, and the man still refused to leave, and would still not budge after police arrived, Lawn said.

“Officers said he would be arrested for trespassing and the man began screaming and fighting with officers,” Lawn said.

The man was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct, Lawn said.

Court documents show charges were dismissed the following day, Oct. 29.
