Watertown Police Log: April 16 to April 22

Jewelry stolen from a safe, bicycle taken from Target and police serve warrant.

 

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watertown Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

April 17, 2:19 a.m.: Police were called to Pequosette Street for a domestic disturbance, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. Robert F. Young, 26, of 21 Pequosette St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

April 17, 10:29 a.m.: Police knew of a man from Sawin Street with an arrest warrant out in his name, Lawn said. Trevor C. Powell, 23, of 20 Sawin St. in Watertown, was arrested on a warrant from Waltham District Court on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

April 18, 11:20 a.m.: Police were called to Chapman Street fro a domestic disturbance, Lawn said. Derek J. Hume, 31, of 122 Chapman St. in Watertown, was arrested on two counts of domestic assault and battery.

April 18, 4:08 p.m.: Police were called to Philip Darch Road for a domestic disturbance, Lawn said. Artur Z. Patvakanian, 48, of 55 Waverley Ave. Apt. 817 in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of intimidating a witness.

April 20, 5:08 p.m.: Police served a warrant on a Templeton Parkway resident, Lawn said. Jonathan S. Golden, 23, of 133 Templeton Parkway in Watertown, was arrested on a warrant from Cambridge District Court for driving under the influence of alcohol.

April 20, 9:17 p.m.: Police were called to Prospect Street for a domestic disturbance, Lawn said. Brian B. Smith, 37, of 65 Prospect St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

April 21, 11:45 p.m.: Police were called to Prentiss Street for a domestic disturbance, Lawn said. Alexi Y. Lai, 24, of 86 Prentiss St. Apt. 7 in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

 

Incidents

April 16, 8:12 p.m.: A man reported his bicycle stolen while he was at Target, Lawn said. He parked it, unlocked, at 6 p.m. and when he came out at 8 p.m. it was gone. It is a blue mountain bike with $90.

April 17, 2:46 p.m.: A man told police he went into his locked home safe and discovered that $4,000 worth of jewelry was gone, Lawn said. There were no signs of forced entry, and police are investigating the case.

April 20, 1:27 p.m.: A man reported that his 2012 Mercedes had been scratched that day when he was parked either in Brighton or Watertown, Lawn said.

April 21, 5:46 p.m.: A woman reported that her car had been scratched on April 7 around 8 p.m. while she was at the VFW Post 1105 for a party, Lawn said. Both sides of her car were scratched.
