Watertown Police Log: June 4 to June 10
Woman stole more than $300 of groceries, wedding ban missing and man's car gets two punctured tires.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Watertown Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
June 4, 9:43 a.m.: Police were called to Arlington Street for a domestic disturbance, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. Wadeline Napeau, 22, of 20 Kerwin St. Apt. 2 in Boston, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
June 4, 5:03 p.m.: An officer on patrol spotted a woman he recognized as a woman wanted on an arrest warrant walking down Arsenal Street, Lawn said. Cheryl A. Lynch, 52, of 55 Dartmouth St. in Belmont, was arrested on a warrant from Waltham District Court.
June 6, 12:49 a.m.: Police tried to serve an arrest warrant on Walnut Street but the man was not home. Later he came to the police station to turn himself in, Lawn said. Cristian F. Revolorio, 20, of 176 Walnut St. Apt. 3 in Watertown, was arrested on a warrant from Westborough District Court for failing to pay fines.
June 6, 4:23 p.m.: Police were called to Main Street for a man violating a restraining order, Lawn said. Manuel Rivera, 44, of 10 Hooper St. in Worcester, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
June 8, 5:07 p.m.: An officer on patrol ran the registration of a vehicle driving on Mt. Auburn Street and found the driver had an arrest warrant, Lawn said. Severo Crespo Cruz, 34, of 7 Raymond St. in Everett, was arrested on an arrest warrant from Waltham District Court for traffic offenses.
June 9, 5:06 p.m.: A woman was caught shoplifting at Stop and Shop on Pleasant Street after she allegedly filled her cart wit items bagged them herself but did not pay, Lawn said. The items were worth a total of $343.02. Maria G. Herrera, 32, of 50 Gilbert St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting of over $100 by asportation.
June 10, 3:01 a.m.: Police were called to Mt. Auburn Street for a domestic disturbance, Lawn said. Walter Martinez, 24, of 805 Mt. Auburn St. Apt. 12 in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon – a cell phone.
June 4, 7:49 p.m.: A woman was detained at Target for shoplifting after she allegedly put items down her pants and paid for some items but not the ones down her pants, Lawn said. The items were worth $174. A 56-year-old woman from Arlington will be summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
June 5, 8:16 a.m.: Two iron plant baskets and a stand were taken off a project of a home on Evans Street, Lawn said.
June 5, 3:04 p.m.: Two plants in ceramic pots were taken from a home on Pine Street, Lawn said.
June 6, 1:39 p.m.: A man was dropping his daughter off a the Watertown Boys and Girls Club and when he came back a few minutes later the two passenger side tires of his 1992 Volvo had three puncture marks each in them, Lawn said.
June 6, 2:34 p.m.: A wedding band with a large oval emerald and three small diamonds was taken from a home on St. Mary’s Street, Lawn said. There were no signs of forced entry, and police are investigating.
June 7, 1:39 p.m.: A Berkeley Street resident reported a missing package, Lawn said. The item was delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on June 1, but the resident never received it.
June 10, 12:45 p.m.: The window of a 2004 van was broken, but no entry was gained into the van, Lawn said.
Also this week: a woman was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
