Officials at the Arsenal Mall announced that the mall is closing at 12:30 p.m. today.

We have gotten word that some Simon malls will be closing early today. For example, due to the anticipated impact of Hurricane Sandy, Arsenal Mall will be closing at 12:30 pm. as a precautionary measure to help ensure the safety of its shoppers, retailers and mall employees.

The mall is the latest retailer to announce that it has closed for the storm. Watertown Savings Bank closed all its branches today, and Belmont Savings Bank closed at 1 p.m.
