6:38 p.m. - The Watertown Public Schools will be closed Thursday.
6:30 p.m. - Tree branch weighed down with snow is bent down onto utility lines on Chester Street.
3;40 p.m. - Two car accident on Mt. Auburn Street at Kimball Road. Two people taken to hospital.
3:34 p.m. - Down wire reported on Waltham Street.
3:25 p.m. - Report of a tree down on Arlington Street.
3:19 p.m. - Fire Department responding to report of a downed wire at 160 Spruce St.
3:14 p.m. - A downed wire was reported at 23 Lawrence Street. Cable wire found in the street on nearby Fitchburg Street.
3:07 p.m. - Report of a wires down in the parking lot at 32 Whites Ave.
2:25 p.m. - A downed wire reported on Arsenal Street.
2:10 p.m. - Downed wire on Carroll Street.
1:45 p.m. - A tree limb reportedly fell on wires at 6 Church St.
About 1 foot of snow in the Muncipal Parking Lot behind CVS.
1:15 p.m. - Downed wire on Dexter Avenue.
1 p.m. - Downed tree is on the wires at 352 Arlington St.
12:16 - Down wire on Forest Street.
12:12 p.m. - Wire across the street at 129 Arsenal Street.
11:38 a.m. - Tree branch hanging on electrical wires in front of 375 Mt. Auburn Street.
11:35 a.m. - Low hanging wires at 85 Walcott Street.
11:34 a.m. - Wires reported down at 6 Winthrop Street.
11:33 a.m. - Looking for lunch, at least a couple restaurants are delivering today. Boston House of Pizza on Galen Street and Gerry's Italian Kitchen on Belmont Street will deliver, but it may take longer than usual. Others are open, but not delivering, such as Pizza Roma on Waverley Street and Tiki In on Mt. Auburn Street. Others had no answer.
11:30 a.m. - Extremely low hanging wires are blockingthe road on Boylston Street.
11:25 a.m. - Down wires at Warren and Lexington streets.
11:24 a.m. - Low hanging wires on Green Street.
11:05 a.m. - A second pole on Elton Avenue is leaning against a residential building. The pole has an electrical transformer on it. NStar has been called in, and police are closing down the road.
10:45 a.m. - Wired reported down on Quincy Street.
10:34 a.m. - Telephone pole is leaning against building at Nichols and Elton avenues. Wires are hanging low.
10:24 a.m. - A broken tree limb on Oakland has taken down phone lines, a second limb is hanging down on the electrical wires.
10:14 a.m. - Tree limb down on Oakland Street.
10:05 a.m. - Wired down on Langdon Avenue.
9:56 a.m. - A tree limb is on the wires on Russell Avenue.
9:53 a.m. - Low hanging wires on Phillips Street.
9:40 a.m. - Brigham Street reportedly impassable.
9:30 a.m. - Wires down at 293 Pleasant St.
Wires on sidewalk on Main Street, appear to be cable wires.

A tree branch is hanging on wires on Green Street and blocking some of the road.
A man hole is missing on Spring Street. DPW workers put a temporary cover on top.

A large branch came down on Keenan Street.
Heavy, moist snow fell on Watertown over night as the winter storm began to roll into the area. The heavy snow is causing problems with downed wires and damaged trees around town.
The National Weather Service now predicts over 14.5 inches of snow will fall on Watertown, according to a forecast released at 8:26 a.m.
The Watertown Public Schools are closed for the day, as are the Watertown Public Free Library and Town Hall.
Last night the Watertown Department of Public Works (DPW) put a snow emergency into effect, beginning 4 a.m. this morning and lasting until further notice.
DPW Superintendent Gerald Mee said the storm hit at a difficult time.
"This is the worst timing," Mee said. "Poor conditions are predicted for (morning) rush hour. There will be heavy accumulation during rush hour."
