MBTA cuts would hit the disabled hard, wrestling coach tallies 300th win and man drives into porch and lands on car.

 

 

MBTA service cuts and fare hikes will have a negative impact on many, but disabled advocates told a Town Council subcommittee the T's plans would be devastating for them.

Watertown wrestling coach Kevin Russo, now in his second stint at Watertown, earned his 300th career win. He said he may not have reached the milestone if not for his daughters.

A drunken driver tried to avoid being caught by police, but ended up hitting a house and landed on another car.

Hundreds of youngsters came out for the second annual Town-Wide Youth Spelling Bee. The event grew more than fourfold in its second year.

The Common Street/Orchard Street intersection got the most votes in the poll of which is the worst intersection in Watertown. You can still add your tally.
