I wanted to take my first post for the Watertown Patch blog to introduce myself. My name is Renee, and I have been living in Watertown for almost 7 years. My boyfriend, pup and I moved here from the Tampa Bay, Fla., area, and could not be happier about landing in Watertown.

I owned my own Experiential Marketing Agency for quite a few years, before making a drastic career change and starting work at Boston University 2 years ago. At that time I also started the EdM program, and will graduate with my Masters in Education: Policy, Planning and Administration in May 2012.

About the same time I started at BU, I also started my blog, Eat.Live.Blog. There I write about ... well ... mostly food if I am going to be honest! I write restaurant reviews and recipes. I also write about local events and traveling through New England.

I also started a blogger group called The Boston Brunchers. Through the Boston Brunchers, I arrange to bring groups of local bloggers to different restaurants throughout the greater Boston area to review their brunches. This has been an amazing way to get to know so many new people and businesses throughout our great area!

For the Patch, I will be focusing most of my posts on the amazing businesses within Watertown. Our town is full of fabulous and unique restaurants, shops and stores, and it is always perplexing to me that we are not recognized for it more.
