The Arsenal Center for the Arts revs up the new year with a program of winter art classes and workshops for adults and children beginning the week of January 7, 2013.
Adult offerings include a range of media and techniques: Acrylic, Watercolor, Relief Printmaking, Ceramics, Drawing, Glassmaking, Writing Fiction, Jewelry-Crafting and more.
Children’s classes (offered for three age ranges up to teens) include Art Adventures, Clay Projects, Mixed-Media, Comics & Cartoons, Jewelry-making and more. Fun Parent/Child workshops are also available.
Classes are held at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street in Watertown, with free parking and access to public transportation. Scholarships and Membership discounts are available. For class descriptions, visit www.arsenalarts.org. To register, call 617-923-0100, ext. 309.

More About Arsenal Center For the Arts
The Arsenal Center for the Arts, dreamed up originally in 1973, is intended to bring all forms of art to the community, whether music, theatre, painting, or anything in between. The organization offers various arts-related opportunities, including a large selection of classes, performances throughout the year, and even a small store located inside. It is also the home to four resident theatre companies, including the Watertown Children's Theatre, and is willing to rent out its theatre space to those that are interested.
