Can you build a roller coaster using only paper? Will it hold?! This program is part of the Children's Department's Science is Everywhere grant. This grant is funded by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, the Library Services and Technology Act, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This program is for children in grades 3 to 5. Registration is required and begins 1/3. You can sign up in person at the library or call 617.972.6435.

The brick library building on Main Street dates back to 1884, and in 2006 the expanded facility opened. Two computer rooms, one for adults and one for children, are available free of charge. The library has numerous programs, including story time in both English and Spanish, adult book clubs, computer classes and movies. Patrons can also enjoy coffee and a snack at The Cafe. Meeting rooms at the library can be reserved by residents.
