Belmont Savings Bank Announces Free Children’s Concert

Belmont Savings Bank today announced that it will be hosting a free children’s concert featuring Karen K & the Jitterbugs on February 8 at Watertown Middle School. The concert continues the bank’s ongoing effort of giving back to their local community and reaching out to the families of Waltham, Lexington, Belmont and Watertown. The event will run from 4-5pm and all are welcome to attend.

This free concert is ideal for kids up to age 5 and their parents. Watertown Middle School is located at 68 Waverley Avenue in Watertown.

At the show, Belmont Savings will be raffling off Karen K & the Jitterbug prizes, including a session of Jitterbugs classes ($200 value) and a Jitterbugs At Home Kit, a Jitterbugs eco-friendly tote with an egg shaker, decorate-your-own guitar and make-your-own antennae, as well as a sing along Jitterbugs CD.

Karen K & the Jitterbugs have been delighting audiences up and down the east coast with their original songs. Based originally in New York City, and now her home in Arlington, Karen K & the Jitterbugs have been featured on CBS with Karen being called “The Kiddie Queen” by the Brooklyn Paper.
