Free screening of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 on March 20

WATERTOWN– Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 will be shown for Watertown elementary school students on March 20th at 1:00pm at Belmont Studio Cinema. The screening is being presented by Belmont Savings Bank.

In addition to free admission, Belmont Savings will be offering free popcorn as well as a coloring contest. The winner of the coloring contest will win a movie package.

“Our Free Movies Matinees in March have become a tradition each year for the families in our footprint to come and enjoy,” said Bob Mahoney, President and CEO of Belmont Savings Bank. “The movies we show free of charge are the perfect destinations for students and parents looking for a good way to spend their time in March on their early release days.”

All children attending the free movie matinee must be accompanied by an adult. Parents that attend may enter to win a Go Pro camera courtesy of the Bank.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is a 2013 computer-animated science fiction comedy. The film is the sequel to the 2009 film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, in which a food-making machine gets out of control, but its creator—young inventor Flint—manages to stop it with the help of his friends.
