Pine Village Announces New Brighton Preschool Location

Pine Village Spanish Immersion Preschool today announced a new location in the Charlesview complex at 370/400 Western Ave, which will open in September 2014.

The new Pine Village location was chosen to replace their current Brighton location, due to the development of the surrounding area. The new location is across Soldiers Field Road from Artesani playground and water park, plus an expansive green space that borders the Charles River – right at the finish line for Head of the Charles. It is also just down the road from Smith Playground and playing fields, as well as the future new site of the Harvard Science complex in Allston.

“In terms of the school itself, after over a decade of growth – including building out four brand new schools – we have learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t,” says Emma LaVecchia, co-founder of Pine Village.  “Our top priorities for the new site include lots of light, sinks in every classroom, and specially-designed kid-size bathrooms accessible directly from the classrooms. We will also have an onsite, fenced in green space/playground adjacent to the school itself.”

Pine Village will continue to share the school’s progress at their website: mybilingualpreschool.com. They will be hosting a series of events to highlight the launch of the new location, the first of which will be an Open House in the Charlesview Community Room on Saturday, May 17 (10 a.m. – noon); they will also attend the Charlesview Family Resource Day on Saturday, May 3. All events will be announced on their website as well.
