Grants Available for Programs With a Watertown Focus

The Watertown Community Foundation welcomes applications for the Healthy Watertown program.

The Watertown Community Foundation will hand out grants to programs and groups that serve Watertown.

The deadline for the "Healthy Watertown" grant program is Nov. 5. Eligible organizations can apply for up to $2,500 from the grant fund.

The program is designed to help organizations that serve Watertown and develop new or continue existing programs with an educational focus, broadly defined.

In the past, grants have been given to programs for after school fitness programs, a jail diversion program and to help a local food pantry. See more examples here.

Please note that the “Healthy Watertown” grant program does not include funding for Watertown Riverfront Mini-Grant projects or for Educational Programs.

Information and application forms are available on WCF’s website: WatertownFoundation.org. Also, you can email mschade@watertownfoundation.org, call 617-926-1500 or write to the Watertown Community Foundation, PO Box 334, Watertown MA 02471-0334.
