Help Clean Up the Charles River in Watertown as Part of Earth Day

Three groups will be cleaning the banks of the river in Watertown on April 20.

 

For the 14th year, groups will gather along the banks of the Charles River to clean up the riverfront as part of the Earth Day Celebration.

Watertown residents have three options in town to join one of the clean up efforts, which take place Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to noon.

 

Information about the cleanups:

Watertown (north side of river), from North Street/Farwell Street, to the Arsenal Street Bridge, and

Brighton (south side of river), from Watertown Square/Galen Street to Eliot Bridge

Newton, Weston, Wellesley, from Nahanton St, Newton. to Waltham line (at Auburndale Park), and

Newton (south side of river) from North Street/Farwell Street to Watertown Square/Galen Street

Boston (south side of river) from Eliot Bridge to B.U. Bridge.
