Lawyers Group Says Watertown Home Searches were Unconstitutional

The group will hold a public forum Thursday night at the Watertown Library

A group of attorneys say the home searches on April 19 during the hunt for the second Boston Marathon Bombing suspect were unconstitutional, and they will talk about it at a public forum.

Members of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Lawyers Guild will be at the Watertown Free Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 14 for a forum about the home searches in Watertown. The event will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., according to a report in the Boston Globe.

They say the action was unprecedented and authorities many houses were searched without a warrant.
