Watertown Declares Snow Emergency

The snow emergency begins at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Watertown Superintendent of Public Works Gerald Mee has declared a snow emergency beginning at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and will last until noon on Wednesday.

During the emergency, on-street parking will be banned and any motor vehicle left on the street is subject to towing.

Mee also requested that everyone make reasonable attempts to clear the sidewalk in front of their property to allow safe passage for pedestrians. Also, assistance by clearing any snow from fire hydrants and catch basins in your area is appreciated, he said.
