Pianos Painted by Watertown Artists Will be Shown Around Boston

The "Play Me, I'm Yours" places 75 pianos in public spaces around the area.

Two Watertown artists are bringing music to the streets of Boston through “Play Me, I’m Yours.”

Artists have painted some of the 75 pianos that will be placed in public places in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Somerville. The project is a work by artist Luke Jerram that’s been installed in 37 cities around the world.

Watertown’s Michael Wilson not only is creating one of the pieces, but was the lead technician for the 75 pianos. He grew up in Hudson and his mother is a professional artist.
