Watertown's Eliza Dushku Signs to Co-Star in Remake of 'The Saint'
The WHS alumna will be part of the pilot for the TV series that will be co-produced by Roger Moore.
Eliza Dushku has signed on to co-star in the latest remake of "The Saint," this time a television series to be co-produced by Roger Moore.
The Watertown native will co-star with Adam Rayner, according to a report on Deadline.com.
The pilot will be directed by Simon West. The series has not yet been picked up by a network, Deadline reports.

The Saint is based on a 70 book series, chronicling the exploits of Simon Templar (Rayner), a brilliant criminal who uses his considerable illicit skills as a modern-day Robin Hood as he infuriates local law enforcement and woos Patricia Holm (Dushku), his on-again, off-again romance, according to Deadline.
The Saint has been made into numerous movie and television adaptations, most recently a 1997 movie staring Val Kilmner.

Moore played Templar in the 1962 television version of The Saint.
Dushku starred in the TV series The Dollhouse, and has had a number of guest starring roles, including an appearance on "White Collar." She is also working on a documentary film about her family's homeland of Albania.
