First Scoop Served at Remodeled Friendly's in Watertown

The re-opening celebration continues through Sept. 11.

Friendly’s in Watertown celebrated its new look with an ice cream party.

The “first scoop” of ice cream served at the remodeled restaurant was served by Friendly’s CEO John Maguire, Watertown Director of Community Development and Planning Steve Magoon and Renee Gaudette, executive director of the Watertown Boy’s & Girl’s Club.

Free ice cream cups were served for the first hour to guests at the restaurant.
