The high-tech company recently unveiled its new headquarters on Pleasant Street.

High tech company Mimecast recently opened the doors to its new headquarters that features space for people to work and to get in a workout or snooze.

The fast growing company also has offices in San Francisco, and recently opened offices in Chicago and Dallas, according to an announcement. By the end of the year Mimecast will have added 200 new employees, including a 30 percent increase in the Boston area office.

“We wanted to create a space that mirrored our business needs, fit our expanding headcount, and complemented our organization’s personality,” said Mark Bilbe, General Manager, North America. “We have experienced incredible expansion across the U.S. and needed to accommodate our current and future growth in Boston with a space focused on employee collaboration and wellness. Our new North American headquarters offers our employees the proper work and life balance and gives our business the room to increase its presence in Boston as well as in the U.S.”

Workers can dine on catered lunches 4 days a week in the Central Collaboration Café, and there is a coffee and smoothie bar inside the office. During nice weather, Mimecast employees can head out onto a patio where they will have Wi-Fi access, according to the announcement.
