Mini Apple Stores Coming to Some Targets, No Word on Watertown
The store-within-a-stores are planned for 25 Target stores for areas that would not support a full-sized Apple Store. Watertown's Best Buy has an Apple Shop.
Mini Apple Stores will be moving into some Target stores around the country, reports AppleInsider, but no word whether will be one of the 25 locations.
The goal is to move Apple into smaller metro areas, AppleInsider reports. Target has 1,752 stores, and is the second largest discount retail chain in the United States.
Apple already has a space in the , the plaza where the Target is located. The Apple Shop inside the store sells Apple products and offers service through its Geek Squad tech support.
