What Should Go in the Former Settles Glass Location?

The spot at the corner of Main Street and Waverley Avenue in Watertown will become retail space.

Developers plan to tear down the old Settles Glass store on Main Street at Waverley Avenue, and replace it with two retail spaces. What do you think should go there?

The spot, less than a half mile west of Watertown Square, has remained unoccupied for many years, said Watertown Director of Economic Development Steve Magoon.

The auto glass shop will be replaced with 4,000 sq. ft. of retail space. It should be ready to open for business in the summer of 2014, according to All Star Realty's 347Main.com website.

Across Waverley Avenue is the Asiana Fusion restaurant, and Ricci's Liquors. Diagonally across the intersection is the Main Street Mobile gas station.
