Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Names Site Medical Director in Somerville

May 5, 2014 - Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates has named Dr. Eleanor Hobbs site medical director of its Somerville practice, as well as regional director of its Somerville, Medford, Cambridge and Watertown sites. Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates is a multi-specialty physician practice with offices across eastern Massachusetts and is an affiliate of Atrius Health.

Dr. Hobbs has practiced at Harvard Vanguard since 2005 and is board certified in internal medicine. In 2010, she was the recipient of Harvard Vanguard’s Paul Solomon Peer Recognition Award for her leadership of the Somerville Internal Medicine Department. Prior to joining the Harvard Vanguard, Dr. Hobbs worked as an emergency and urgent care physician in the greater Boston area. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She is a resident of Lexington, Mass.
