Ash Wednesday: What Will You Give Up for Lent?

See when Ash Wednesday services will be held in Watertown

It's Ash Wednesday and for many that means giving up something as part of their observance of Lent and Easter. 

Many Roman Catholics give up something they love - chocolate, junk food, cigarettes -  for Lent, which lasts until Easter - about six weeks.

Ash Wednesday services will be held at Watertown's two Catholic churches. Here are the times for Mass:

Sacred Heart Church: 8 a.m. and noon

St. Patrick's Church: 7:30 a.m., 12:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
