Attention Aspiring Newscasters: Watertown Cable Looking for Anchors

The local cable channel needs anchors for it's Watertown Weekly News show.

Aspring news anchors, here's your chance to get in front of the camera and report the local news. 

The Watertown Community Access Center will audition prospective anchors for its Watertown Weekly News program. 

No experience is necessary to be on the show which airs live on Thursday evenings.

The Watertown Community Access Center is holding anchor auditions for their weekly news program Watertown Weekly News. If you want to be a part of our news team, come down to the station and audition to be on of our anchors. Everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary. Whether you’ve never been in front of a camera before, or are looking to bolster your existing reel, we want to meet you.

During the audition you’ll be asked to read a few stories from the teleprompter. Watertown Weekly News goes live every Thursday at 7:00 pm; so prospective anchors should be available Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Auditions will be held at the Watertown Community Access Center, at 50 Columbia Street, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 5th.
