Five Things You Need to Know Today: April 27

WHS athletes in action, story time at the library and the Zoning Board meets.

  1. . At 3:30 p.m. the girls' tennis team takes on Melrose at Victory Field. The softball team faces Winchester at Filippello Park at 3:45 p.m.
  2. Seniors looking to keep active can go to the Watertown Senior Center for the class. The program includes muscle strengthening, light stretching,  and low impact aerobics, and is focused on the needs of seniors in a fun and safe environment. The class runs from 11 a.m. to noon, and costs $3 per class.
  3. Watertown Free Public Library hosts The event includes stories, songs, and rhymes for children ages 2 and under in the Children's Program Room.
  4. The in Town Hall tonight at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber.
  5. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Lower Hearing Room.
