Five Things You Need to Know Today: April 8

Comedy for Cunniff, student art on display and a play at the Arsenal Center for the Arts.

  1. Today is the final day that in kindergarten through grade 12 will displayed in the Watertown Mall.
  2. will perform her stand-up comedy routine tonight at 7 p.m. at Hibernian Hall. This fun night out for adults will benefit the Cunniff Elementary School.  Along with the comedy, you can bid on items including Red Sox tickets and golf packages.
  3. New Repertory Theatre presents "The Last Five Years," an award-winning musical by Jason Robert Brown. The play is directed by Jim Petosa and features Aimee Doherty and Mark Linehan. The show will be at the Arsenal Center for the Arts
  4. Seniors looking to keep active can go to the Watertown Senior Center for the class. The program includes muscle strengthening, light stretching,  and low impact aerobics, and is focused on the needs of seniors in a fun and safe environment. The class runs from 11 a.m. to noon, and costs $3 per class.
  5. Come to the Watertown Free Public Library for The event will be in the Children's Program Room today at 11 a.m.
