Five Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 21

Museum of Science brings animals to the mall, Public Works Committee meets and Tech Tuesday at the library.

 

  1. The Watertown Mall will have some special visitors today at 1 p.m.  Meet some amazing reptiles from The Museum of Science's Live Animal Center
  2. The Public Works Subcommittee meets tonight to review plans for Waverly Avenue and to review the Road Management Study. The meeting is at 5 p.m. in Town Hall.
  3. The Watertown Free Public Library hosts Tech Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon today. Schedule a 15-30 minute appointment to answer your  questions about your electronic devices.
  4. Stellina Restaurant hosts local jazz musicians tonight from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There is no cover charge, and no reservations are needed.
  5. Seniors can have their questions about health insurance answered today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Watertown Senior Center. The SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) program is a free program funded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs.
