Five Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 25

Supply drive for the troops, improv comedy and a concert for kids.

  1. The Arsenal Mall hosts , where they will collect supplies to send to troops overseas. Items ranging from individually wrapped candies & snacks to toilet paper, toiletries and apparel are needed and have been requested by troops serving overseas.
  2. The Arsenal Center for the Arts is hosting a performance by comedy group. The performance is tonight from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  3. Seniors looking to keep active can go to the Watertown Senior Center for the class. The program includes muscle strengthening, light stretching,  and low impact aerobics, and is focused on the needs of seniors in a fun and safe environment. The class runs from 11 a.m. to noon, and costs $3 per class.
  4. Children ages 2 to 7 are invited to at the Watertown Free Public Library. This program will take place in the Watertown Savings Bank Room at 11 a.m. The event is free, registration is required.
  5. The Arsenal Center for the Arts presents "Burn This," a play written by American playwright Lanford Wilson. The show begins tonight at 8 p.m.
