Five Things You Need to Know Today: June 1

Budget and Fiscal Oversight Commission and Conservation Commission meet and a book group at the library.

  1. at 7 p.m. in Town Hall. They will meet in the Richard E. Mastrangelo Council Chamber.
  2. at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Lower Hearing Room.
  3. at 7 p.m.   Copies of book titles are available at the main circulation desk two weeks prior to discussion.
  4. Seniors looking to keep active can go to the Watertown Senior Center for the class. The program includes muscle strengthening, light stretching,  and low impact aerobics, and is focused on the needs of seniors in a fun and safe environment. The class runs from 11 a.m. to noon, and costs $3 per class.
  5. at St. John's Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Agenda items include update on showing of "Inside Job", next steps in Fund Our Community Campaign, Monthly Vigil, and more.
