Five Things You Need to Know Today: March 2

Girls' hockey in the state tourney, a new moms group and an adult book group at the library.

  1. The its first ever state tournament game tonight. The Raiders skate against Framingham at 5 p.m. at the Ryan Skating Arena.
  2. The Watertown Family Network hosts a today at 9 a.m. The free weekly group is open to new parents and babies - birth to one year old.
  3. The Watertown Public Free Library hosts an tonight at 7 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to attend. Copies of book titles are available at the main circulation desk two weeks prior to discussion.
  4. The at 7:30 p.m. It will take place in the Lower Hearing Room of the Town Hall.
  5. Seniors looking to keep active can go to the Watertown Senior Center for the class. The program includes muscle strengthening, light stretching,  and low impact aerobics, and is focused on the needs of seniors in a fun and safe environment. The class runs from 11 a.m. to noon, and costs $3 per class.
