Mount Auburn Hospital Hires New CFO

William Sullivan was appointed to the post this month, and comes to the hospital from St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.

Mount Auburn Hospital sent out the following announcement:

William Sullivan has been named as Mount Auburn Hospital’s new CFO. He has extensive experience in financial management in the healthcare industry. Sullivan comes to Mount Auburn from Steward St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center where he was vice president of Finance and responsible for the overall financial operations of SEMC.

Sullivan graduated from Saint Anselm College in 1987 with a degree in Financial Economics and went on to receive master's in Business Administration from Framingham State College in 1995. He was first employed by Mount Auburn Hospital from 1988 to 1993 as a Reimbursement Analyst and Manager.

Some significant accomplishments of Sullivan’s include increasing the profitability of Steward St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center over three years, financial oversight for construction of $30 million facility expansion and the management of design and construction of a $600,000 cardiovascular office space.

“We are excited to announce the arrival of William Sullivan as our new CFO,” says Jeanette Clough, President and CEO of Mount Auburn Hospital. “Mr. Sullivan has extensive experience in financial management in the healthcare industry and has achieved successful financial results in a highly competitive market in his past positions.”
