Peer Leadership Ambassadors Joseph Kelland and Eric Tirrell, both of Watertown, have been accepted to serve as Peer Leadership Ambassadors at the 2013 Leadership Summit: Leadership in Action at Harvard University in July. Find out more by clicking here.

Rockland Trust Launches College Scholarship Program Rockland Trust announced the launch of its 2013 Rockland Trust Scholarship program for high school students entering college for the first time as a freshman this year. Rockland Trust is offering six $2,500 scholarships to students based on academic accomplishment and community service. For more information click here.

Soldiers' Monument Campaign Begins The Historical Society of Watertown announced that it has begun the official fund raising campaign for the Soldiers’ Monument and Saltonstall Park Project.  The purpose of this initiative is the repair of a badly-damaged Civil War statue and upgrading of the surrounding park area.
