Recycle Flip Flops at Old Navy in Watertown
Stores around the country will collect the old footwear and use them to create playgrounds.
Old Navy made this recent announcement:
In an effort to further reduce waste, TerraCycle Inc. and are partnering in a month-long drive to collect used flip flops and recycle them into four public playgrounds around the country.
The Watertown community is encouraged to participate by stopping by Old Navy in the Arsenal Mall to deposit used flip flops in designated collection bins.
