Sign Ups are Open for the Watertown Townwide Spelling Bee
The Spelling Bee will be held Jan. 29 at Watertown Middle School.
Students in grades 1 to 5 can sign up now for the Townwide Spelling Bee, which will be held Jan. 29 at Watertown Middle School.
The spelling bee, which is sponsored by the Watertown Education Foundation, runs from noon to 5 p.m. in the Watertown Middle School auditorium.
Students compete in teams of three, and members of the winning team receive trophies.

The spelling bee raises money for the Watertown Education Foundation. Last year the event raised $9,000.
Entries can be dropped off in the school offices at Watertown's elementary schools.
