Victoria Secret Employee Arrested After Bilking Thousands from Store in Watertown

The Dorchester man set up a scam to sell products under the table to customers.

 

An employee at Victoria's Secret got caught selling items under the table for less than sticker price and pocketing a profit. 

The 23-year-old Dorchester man worked as a seasonal employee at the store in the Arsenal Mall, and was caught be security, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

"Store security received information that customers were approached by him and asked to make a deal to buy items from him from less than their value," Lawn said. "A total loss of $2,275 was discovered."

Levell Odell Gillard, 23, of 8 Iowa St. Apt. 1 in Dorchester, faces a charge of larceny of over $250 by a single scheme, Lawn said.
