Watertown Resident Named Middlesex Assistant District Attorney

District Attorney Gerry Leone announced the hiring of Christopher Baker this week.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone announced Feb. 8 the hiring of Watertown-resident Christopher Baker as the newest Assistant District Attorney for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office:

Christopher Baker, a graduate of Boston College Law School, will be working as an ADA in the Lowell District Court.

Prior to joining the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Baker served with the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps, Leone's office said. During his four years in the service, Baker was assigned as counsel to the Navy hospital where he oversaw litigation and compliance regulations.

“We’re extremely pleased to be welcoming Chris as the newest member of our prosecution team.” Leone said.  “His experience and service with the United States Navy JAG Corps has well prepared him to serve the people of Middlesex County.”

The Middlesex District Attorney Office has a proud tradition of protecting and serving the people of Middlesex County through tough, fair prosecutions and proactive, progressive prevention and intervention efforts. The mission of the Office of the Middlesex District Attorney is to protect and serve the public, fight for victims, and speak for those who otherwise would have no voice.

He's off to a good start. He's defending a lady with the help of the Framingham Police on a case that's starting to smell like a rat. A woman clains an assault took place on her car and she even says that 2000+ dollars in damage was done but guess what? NO PHOTOS backing up what she says are available. Photos from the charged party are available showing NO DAMAGE.. Hmmmmmm can this DA be that dumb to take this case and that claims to serve the public or is the public a bunch of fools. Stay turned in May 2012 to find out. Joe Rizoli
