7th Annual Evening of Education and Hope

Come join us for an evening of stimulating conversation, delicious Haitian food, arts and music -- all to support Haiti's award-winning Matenwa Community Learning Center (MCLC).  Our guest speaker will be Dr. Michèle Pierre-Louis, former Haitian Prime Minister and President of the FOKAL foundation, one of MCLC's supporters.  Three visiting Matenwa teachers will also be in attendance.  MIT research has sown that MCLC methods have children reading 3 times faster than their peers.  Come find out why and support the key to sustainable development in Haiti!  Tickets are $65/person and can be purchased at the door or in advance via www.friendsofmatenwa.org
